They represent a significant departure from pointing tasks, and newly introduced input devices such as the touchscreen and the gyroscope controller have paved the way for novel interaction models in a variety of contexts.
Zyxio’s solution is a breakthrough exclusive innovation, resulting from a 3+ year, multi-million dollar human interaction R&D program.
It consists of a patented Single Chip Touchless Technology combined with an integrated software development platform which enable ultra low pressure breathing kinetic energy to be modeled as parameters and trajectories. Sub-sequences are extracted and used to define orthogonal multidimensional control functions.

The sensawaft™ MEMS (Micro Electro-Mechanical System) senses ultra-low pressure levels in the open space, at a distance of up to 20 cms from the mouth, intentionally generated by the user.

The sensawaft™ solution is highly customizable and enables a broad gamut of interaction models developed since 2006 in our lab. sensawaft™ can identify and separate intentional interaction from simply breathing or ambient wind and output compatible communication/ input data to be sent to the host device/ main processing unit via standard protocols such as UART, USB® or Bluetooth®.
